Farmers

Farmers are very simple and humble people. I believe so, because their work involves planting seeds, nurturing them, watching them grow, and keeping them pest free which is like parenting. It is a continuous process, which they repeat every season when they start a new crop.

I can't resist getting into the fields, interacting with them and photographing them. My grandfather was a farmer and every vacation I used to go crazy wandering in the fields, spending hours spotting crabs, prawns, small fishes and snakes in the waterlogged fields. The sound of gushing wind, splashing water and bird calls fill the air. Brings back so many memories every time.
